The customized keychain tutorial I am sharing today is super simple and I almost thought about not sharing it because of how easy it is. But then sometimes people are looking for super simple ideas so I thought – why not share it? You could customize the keychains with any phrase or word that you want. The one I used is RWH, which stands for return with honor.
Awhile ago I was asked to make a handout for our youth group at church. The theme was about returning home and so that is why I went with Return With Honor – but really this would be perfect for whatever word you want to use.
On some of the supplies I have linked to amazon so you can see exactly what they are (amazon affiliate link).
- Tim Holtz Tag Labels
- Tim Holtz Swivel Clasps
- Word – you could use a sticker or vinyl – I made RWH with my vinyl cutter – use whatever you have.
Remove the labels from the package and add your vinyl word or sticker onto the labels.
Add your adhesive labels to the metal tag.
Add the clear epoxy sticker (that comes with the labels) over your word.
Attach the Swivel Clasps and your keychains are ready to go!
A very simple project but the youth seemed to like them.
