This recipe for Cabbage and Pineapple Slaw Burgers will quickly become a backyard BBQ favorite.
I have to tell you this burger is amazing! And I am not just saying that because this is a sponsored post. It truly is delicious. The Coleslaw and the burger is a fabulous combination of flavors and is so good. The slaw has a hint of spice from the Sriracha sauce and a hint of sweet from the crushed pineapple, and the burger is so moist and juicy. Delish!
But seriously, don’t take my word for it. You need to make this slaw burger for yourself. In fact, do you know what you’re going to BBQ on July 4th? Well, now you do! Trust me, you will not disappoint.
Here is what you will need to make 8 burgers:
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- ¾ cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
- 1 pkg. ( 14 oz.) cabbage slaw blend
- 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, (drained)
- ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
- 2 tsp Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)
- 8 hamburger buns
Heat grill to medium heat.
Mix meat, garlic powder and ¼ cup dressing just until blended; shape into 8 (½-inch-thick) patties. Grill 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (160ºF).
Combine remaining dressing with all remaining ingredients except buns.
Fill buns with burgers and coleslaw.
I actually made the slaw first.
The recipe calls for thinly sliced onions, but I just threw them in my Ninja food processor and chopped it up.
Assemble your burger however you would like. I tried it naked first, with no cheese, ketchup, or mustard, and it didn’t need it at all. The burger was nice and moist and the slaw added that perfect flavor.
I love MIRACLE WHIP and Proud of It!

I love a good coleslaw. I think this burger looks amazing. I'm not sure I could handle the Sriracha sauce tho. 🙂 My husband would love it. Thanks for linking up at The Creative Exchange!
