I Scream DO OVER!

Have you ever had one of those moments when you just want to scream “DO OVER!” and go back in time?

Last year I took up running.  I used to say “how is that fun?” but after working and building on it for several months last year it did become fun and I completely became addicted to running.  It was great; I was losing weight, and felt confident.  I ran several 5Ks and a 10K.

Here I am at my first 5K last year with my sister, the start of the race and at the finish line.

Then it got cold and I started to slack, I slacked a little more, I slacked a lot and then I completely stopped running.   Fast forward to now, it is gorgeous outside and I am running again, and IT SUCKS!  It is not fun, it hurts.  It doesn’t make me feel good, I am tired!  I am at that point where I want to scream “DO OVER!” and go back and make myself at least maintain all that I had worked so hard for.  But I keep pushing myself because I know if I keep pushing myself it will become fun again.

This is what Frigidaire has to say about Do Overs:  The Frigidaire Gallery™Dishwasher gets dishes fully cleaned the first time, so there are no dish do-overs. Nearly half of adults admit to re-washing and/or re-drying dishes after the dishwasher cycle has been completed. To prevent dishwasher do-overs, Frigidaire® is stepping in with its new Gallery® Dishwasher featuring the OrbitCleanTM Wash Arm, ensuring dishes are cleaned right the first time.

Since I didn’t do it right the first time I am going to kick my butt to get it right the second time so I don’t have to go through this again.

AND I have my first 5K of this year this Saturday to help motivate me and keep me going.

Wish me luck!
